Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Wearease handles personal information when you browse weareasestore.com, place an order, contact our team or interact with our marketing. Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be connected to you.

This policy explains our practices; visiting the website does not, by itself, give consent to every optional use of your information. Where consent is required, we will request it separately.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Wearease is the trading name of the seller operating this store:

You can use these contact details for questions, privacy requests or complaints. Please include “Privacy Request” in your email subject where possible.

2. Information you provide

The information needed depends on what you ask us to do. It can include:

  • Contact and delivery information: your name, phone number, email address, billing or delivery address and delivery instructions.
  • Order details: products, sizes, colours, quantities, discounts, order numbers, payment method, payment status, delivery history and return or exchange requests.
  • Payment and refund records: transaction references, payment confirmations and the account or wallet details needed to issue an agreed refund. Payment providers process the payment information required for their services.
  • Account information: information used to create, authenticate and manage a customer account, where you choose to use one.
  • Support information: messages, product photographs and other details you choose to provide when asking for help. Size or fit information you voluntarily share is used to answer your enquiry and assist with product selection or an exchange.
  • Marketing preferences and feedback: subscription choices, consent records, reviews, survey answers and requests to stop promotional messages.

Please do not send intimate photographs, medical records, full payment-card details, banking passwords, wallet PINs or bank/wallet OTPs through email, WhatsApp or social messages. We do not require intimate photographs for size guidance. If a product photo is needed for a complaint, photograph the item itself without unnecessary personal details.

You may decline to provide optional information. Without essential contact, payment or delivery details, we may be unable to process an order or resolve a request.

3. Information collected through the website and other services

Our website and connected services can collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, cookie identifiers, referring page, pages or products viewed, cart activity and checkout events. An IP address may indicate an approximate location.

We also receive information needed to reconcile transactions and fulfil orders from service providers, such as payment confirmation from a payment provider or delivery status from a courier. If you contact us through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp, we receive the profile information and messages that the platform makes available for that interaction.

Cookie and advertising uses are explained in sections 6–8 below.

4. How we use information

We use relevant information to:

  • Receive and process orders, verify payments, arrange delivery and handle cancellations, exchanges or refunds.
  • Confirm COD orders, check incomplete addresses, investigate duplicate or potentially unauthorized orders and resolve delivery problems.
  • Provide product and size assistance, answer enquiries and maintain customer accounts.
  • Send essential order confirmations, tracking details, payment updates and support messages.
  • Maintain business records, investigate complaints and meet applicable legal obligations.
  • Understand website use, identify technical problems and improve product information and shopping features.
  • Send permitted promotional messages and measure or improve advertising, subject to applicable consent requirements and privacy choices.

We limit order verification to information reasonably needed for the issue. If a verification check affects your order, contact us to request a review by our team. A missed call alone is not proof of a false order.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the activity: fulfilling your purchase, meeting a legal obligation, pursuing a permitted business interest, or obtaining your consent where required. Optional marketing is separate from the information needed to fulfil an order.

5. Who receives information?

We share relevant information with providers that support the activities described in this policy:

  • Shopify and store service providers: to operate the website, checkout, customer accounts and related store features.
  • Couriers and fulfilment providers: contact details, delivery address, parcel information and any COD amount needed to deliver your order and resolve delivery issues.
  • Payment and refund providers: information needed to verify a transaction, receive payment or issue a refund.
  • Communication and support providers: to handle email, messages, customer enquiries and permitted marketing communications.
  • Advertising and analytics partners: information described in sections 6–8, according to the services used and applicable privacy choices.
  • Professional advisers or authorities: where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting or dispute-related purposes, or in response to a valid legal requirement.

Authorized staff and service providers should access information only as needed for their work. Certain providers also have their own responsibilities and privacy notices. If the business is sold or reorganized, relevant records may be transferred subject to appropriate confidentiality measures and applicable law.

We may also share information at your specific request or with your permission. Private support messages and customer photographs are not permission to publish them in advertising.

6. Shopify and international processing

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes information about store visits and purchases to provide its services. Some processing is carried out for Wearease; Shopify also processes information for services it provides under its own privacy terms.

Where Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify can use information from interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services, including personalization, store improvements and advertising features. This processing is subject to the relevant privacy choices and applicable requirements.

Shopify and other providers may process or store information outside Pakistan. Applicable safeguards and transfer requirements must be followed where required; this policy is not a request for blanket consent to overseas transfers.

Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy for Shopify's practices. Requests and choices concerning Shopify's own processing are available through the Shopify Privacy Portal. You can contact Wearease separately about information we hold.

7. Facebook, Instagram and advertising measurement

We promote Wearease on Facebook and Instagram. Where Meta tracking tools are enabled on our store, they can help measure visits and purchases and show relevant advertisements. These tools can include the Meta Pixel and, where enabled, the Conversions API.

Depending on the connection and permitted settings, Meta may receive page or product interactions, cart or purchase events, transaction values, device or browser identifiers, IP addresses and contact identifiers used for matching. Matching information can include names, location, email addresses or phone numbers. Some identifiers may be hashed before transmission; hashing does not make matching data anonymous.

Private fit-support messages, intimate photographs and bank or wallet credentials must not be included in advertising event data. Advertising-related sharing remains subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements, including when information is sent directly between services rather than through browser cookies.

Meta's own handling of information is explained in its Privacy Policy. You can also review the advertising and privacy controls available within your Facebook or Instagram account. Contact us about Wearease's use of your information for advertising.

8. Cookies and privacy choices

Cookies and similar technologies support different functions:

  • Essential functions: maintaining your cart, supporting checkout, authentication and website security.
  • Preferences: remembering choices that make the store easier to use.
  • Analytics: understanding visits and shopping activity so the store can be improved.
  • Advertising: measuring campaigns and supporting relevant ads where these tools are enabled.

Where a cookie banner or privacy-choice link is displayed, you can use it to manage the available options. Where prior consent is required, non-essential tracking must wait for that consent. You can also contact us to ask about or change the choices we manage.

Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect checkout or account functions. Browser controls do not necessarily prevent information from being shared directly between services. You may need to adjust choices separately on different browsers or devices.

See Shopify's Cookie Policy for information about its store technologies. Advertising-related disclosures can fall within legal definitions of “sharing,” “sale” or “targeted advertising” in some jurisdictions even without a cash payment. Any applicable opt-out rights remain available; we do not describe all advertising data as anonymous.

9. Promotional messages and order communications

Providing a phone number or email address for an order does not automatically mean you have subscribed to every type of promotion. We obtain marketing consent where required and use your contact details in line with your choices.

To stop promotional email, use the unsubscribe option provided or email us. For promotional WhatsApp or SMS messages, send us a message asking to stop promotions using the contact details above. Please identify the email address or phone number concerned so we can update the correct record.

After you opt out, we may still contact you about an existing order, delivery, payment, refund, account security or a support request. We may retain a minimal opt-out record so you are not added back unintentionally.

10. How long we keep information

Retention depends on the purpose and applicable requirements. We consider how long information is needed to fulfil an order, resolve a return or complaint, maintain an account, reconcile payments, meet tax or accounting obligations, investigate misuse or handle a legal claim.

Marketing records are reviewed against subscription status and ongoing need. Support attachments and optional fit information should not be kept longer than needed for the enquiry or a justified related purpose.

When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or anonymized. Some records may remain for a required legal period or within protected backups until those backups are replaced. A deletion request does not necessarily require immediate removal of every transaction record; we will explain relevant restrictions when responding.

11. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and the services involved to reduce unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No website, message channel or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Keep account credentials private and report suspicious messages or account activity to us. Our team will not ask for banking passwords, wallet PINs or OTPs that give access to your bank, wallet or messaging account. If an incident creates a notification obligation under applicable law, we will follow that requirement.

12. Access, correction, deletion and complaints

You can contact us to ask what information we hold, request a correction or deletion, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or ask us to stop promotional use. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to a portable copy, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to challenge a decision about your request.

We may need to verify that you are the person concerned or an authorized representative. We will seek only information proportionate to that verification; please do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary and how to provide them appropriately.

We will assess requests under applicable law, explain relevant exceptions and respond within any required timeframe. Some information may need to be retained for an outstanding order, a dispute or a legal obligation. Exercising a privacy right will not remove any valid purchase or refund right.

If you disagree with our response, contact us and ask for a further review. You may also approach a competent authority or court where applicable law permits.

13. Reviews, photographs and social platforms

Information you post in a public review or social comment may be visible to other people. Avoid including addresses, phone numbers, payment details or private order information.

If you submit a review for publication, we may display it for that purpose. We will seek separate permission before using private messages or identifiable customer photographs or videos in promotional content. Tell us if you want to discuss removing content we control.

External websites, social platforms and payment services have their own privacy practices. Review their notices when using them. Linking to those services does not remove Wearease's responsibilities for information under our control.

14. Children

Our store is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly seek personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian may contact us if a child has supplied information so we can assess its removal and any associated order. We do not need a child's personal details for an adult to purchase products.

15. Policy changes

We may revise this policy when our practices, providers or applicable requirements change. The updated version will show a new date. We will provide additional notice or request fresh consent where required. Publishing a revision does not automatically authorize a materially different use of previously collected information.
